What we believe
Electrical work disappears behind drywall the day it's finished. You can't see whether the connections are tight, whether the circuits are sized right, or whether anyone pulled a permit. So the only thing that really matters is how a contractor works when nobody's checking.
- Every job that needs a permit gets one
- Quotes are written, itemized and fixed
- We recommend the smallest job that solves the problem
- Sites are protected and cleaned daily
- Panels are labelled, always
- We answer the phone after the job too
Homes and businesses
We split our work between residential — panel upgrades, EV chargers, lighting, rewiring and renovations — and commercial: tenant fit-outs, LED retrofits, maintenance and emergency lighting. The standards are the same; the scheduling and paperwork differ, and we're set up for both.
Licensing and insurance
DF Electrical is a Licensed Electrical Contractor in Ontario (ECRA/ESA). Our licence number and certificate of insurance are provided with every quote.
How we quote
Every quote starts with a site visit. We look at the panel and the service, ask what you're planning over the next few years — not just this job — and write up an itemized, fixed price: permit, materials, labour and anything we've excluded. If the cheapest fix is a small repair, that's what we'll quote.
How we work on site
One crew lead stays with your job from start to finish. Floors are protected, dust is controlled, and power-off windows are agreed in advance. In occupied homes we restore power to the rooms you need at the end of each day; in commercial spaces we schedule disruptive work around your hours.
Who we work for
Homeowners renovating or electrifying, landlords adding legal second units, general contractors and designers who need an electrician who shows up when the schedule says, and property managers who want planned maintenance instead of emergency calls.
Where we work
Twenty communities across the GTA — Toronto and its former boroughs, Peel, York, Durham and Halton. See service areas.
